30 days of Different

I am planning a month long pin party. This month has 31 days. I am going to do a pin every day this month. Either by creating my own pin or choosing someone else's. And of course you are welcome to follow or join in at any time. Of course, pinning is more fun with done with friends! :)

Day One: Quick Dinner (TBD) AND make tomorrow's breakfast today.

Working two job and balancing full time school and household life it's easy. In fact, often it makes me very stressed, scary and hungry. :) We have been eating out WAY too much lately, so even though tonight is one of my busiest nights at job number two, I am going to cook dinner. (stomps foot!)

Shopping List for PinParty

Here is what we will need for the 3 planned Pins:


1 bar of soap (any kind you want)
1 cup of Borax
1 cup of washing soda
a big pot ( that holds more than 2 gallons)
a grater
a funnel
a long spoon
2 empty gallon jugs/containers


You will need scissors, 
a nail polish color pale, 
with a varnish base 
newspaper, 
alcohol (like Vodka or other)
and a top coat.


baking soda 
orange essential oil
adding Borax to kill any potential itty bitty bugs in carpet! EW.
(optional nutmeg or ground clove)
**I didn't realize this one is so simple, that we might look for a bonus pin...??)

I can't believe how fast the last week has gone! I wonder if you have been as busy as I am... ??

O.K big wild wide world. I've been thinking about this for a long while now... and now it's time to make it happen. :) Have you heard about Pintrest.com? If you are anything like me you love to "pin" and if you are half as busy with life as I am, you don't have any time to "work" these pins. :( I know, it makes me so sad too!

R U excited? Can you handle it?  :) I know me neither! So, let's review our pintrest accounts this weekend and pull out three ideas/recipes/challenges/crafts/household organization things that we have really, really, really wanted to do like yesterday! and then we can decide what we should begin with to party with. In order to "vote" - email/comment/post a link to your new board called "PinParty"  to me so we can get all the votes in and do these together. RE-pin your idea to the new board "PinParty". Thursday July 12th- The idea was born = I want time to not just "pin" but to do/bake/cook/paint/sew/shop/create these pins and I need friends to share the adventure!
Friday July 13th- Blog created. Planning started and first challenge posted.
Monday July 16th - Deadline for 3 suggestions - on new PinParty board.
Wednesday July 18th - Unveiling and date set...
